Job summary

Kimley-Horn’s Irving Las Colinas office is seeking engineering graduates to join our Structural team in 2026. This entry-level role offers exposure to high rises, hotels, apartments, and various structures in a collaborative, mentorship-driven environment.

Responsibilities include design and analysis of vertical structures, preparing drawings and specifications, and supporting client interactions. Proficiency in Revit and Civil 3D is preferred, with a focus on team collaboration and meeting

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree to be completed by Summer 2027.
• Majors include Civil and/or Environmental Engineering; Structural Engineering.
• Working knowledge of Revit, Civil 3D.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.

Responsibilities

• Work on structures like high rises, apartments, hotels, and bridges.
• Perform engineering tasks with mentorship and exposure to plan production and client interactions.
• Assist in design and analysis of vertical structures ensuring codes compliance.
• Prepare drawings and specifications and use structural software.
• Participate in field inspections and project coordination meetings.
