Job summary

Engtal is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer – Structural Analyst to join our dynamic team in Pittsburgh. You will lead advanced structural analyses, developing robust models and validating designs through simulations and testing.

The role requires 7+ years of experience, deep knowledge of FEA, and hands-on use of ANSYS Workbench and APDL. You will collaborate with engineers and project managers, producing clear technical reports and supporting material choices for complex systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Advanced experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
  • Hands-on experience with ANSYS Workbench and APDL.
  • Strong understanding of structural dynamics, vibrations, and multi-degree-of-freedom motion systems.
  • Experience solving linear and nonlinear dynamic and vibration problems using numerical methods and signal processing.
  • Proficiency with analytical tools such as MATLAB and MathCAD.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical documentation skills.

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and interns.
