Job summary

Boeing in the United States is seeking a Senior Structural Analysis Engineer (Level 4) for the Fuselage Life Cycle Product Team to work at our North Charleston, SC location.

You will lead structural analysis activities for the 787 fuselage primary structure, mentor team members, and ensure compliance with design and safety requirements throughout the product lifecycle. This role offers relocation assistance for eligible candidates and competitive total rewards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering as required.
• 5+ years of experience performing stress analysis on fuselage or related structures.
• 3+ years of experience performing stress analysis on composite structures.
• Experience with aircraft structures and integration with suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Leads structural analysis on Boeing 787 fuselage primary structure.
• Performs stress analysis using hand methods, FE tools, and dynamic simulation.
• Reviews and signs off supplier documents including drawings and reports.
• Develops and documents structural requirements for fuselage designs.
• Coordinates loads, boundaries, interfaces with other engineering groups.
• Leads development of test plans and analyzes results to verify requirements.
