We are seeking experienced and lead-level Structural Analysis Engineers for Boeing Global Services (BGS) – Structures Stress Team in Long Beach, California. This role involves stress analysis for primary and secondary aircraft structures, supporting production and modifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed structural analysis to assess integrity and safety margins using classical techniques and Boeing tools.
• Guide structural design and configuration development.
• Create trade studies to optimize structural designs.
• Integrate component-level models and perform finite element analysis to verify structural integrity.
• Document analyses to demonstrate compliance with Boeing, customer, and regulatory standards.
• Resolve technical, operational, and quality issues collaboratively.
• Support domestic and international travel as needed.
• Work onsite 5 days a week.

Qualifications

Basic (Required)

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, physics, or related field.
• 5+ years in Stress or Structural Analysis.
• 3+ years with classical hand analysis and FEA software.
• Experience with Boeing tools, processes, and Fatigue/Damage Tolerance Analysis.
• Willing to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.

Preferred

• 9+ years of related experience or equivalent education.
• 2+ years leading and mentoring analysis teams and working on 787 primary structural analysis.

Additional Information

Boeing is a drug-free workplace. This position is for 1st shift. The salary range for experienced and lead levels is $102,000 - $138,000 and $124,100 - $167,900, respectively. Applications are accepted until May 22, 2025.
