PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a Structural Analysis Engineer 3, in Everett, WA. Job ID#225107

Pay Rate: $71 - $76/hr

Job Description

Seeking structures analysis engineers with experience in aircraft structure analysis specializing in Landing Gear, Doors, or Windows (Flight Deck and/or Passenger) - Location could be Everett or Renton, WA.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil (including approved Structural), Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)


• ABET Accredited University required


• 8+ years related work experience in structures analysis

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Has previous work experience working on Structures commodities


• Ability to excel in a highly dynamic environment, team-oriented atmosphere


• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex, nuanced results in a clear, concise manner that is easily understood by a wide audience


• Have initiative and ability to recognize needs/SOW without explicit guidance


• Be able to provide technical solutions to a wide range of problems


• Experience working with finite element models/simulations using NASTRAN/PATRAN, ABAQUS, Hypermesh.


• Experience with 3D modeling such as CATIA/ENOVIA for model interrogation and verification.


• Experience with specific applications such IAS, CSW, SA and others.
