Care New England Health System in Rhode Island is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct patient care within a defined patient group and uphold the hospital’s patient care philosophy.

You will use the nursing process to deliver goal-directed care, monitor patient status, and communicate with physicians to ensure continuity of care. The role includes leadership duties and ongoing professional development within a dynamic hospital team.

Formación

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum of six months job-related experience or equivalent.
• RI State Licensure is required.
• BSN or enrollment in BSN program is required for external candidates.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct patient care including examination and treatment under an approved protocol.
• Evaluate outcomes and adjust nursing care processes as needed to ensure optimal patient care.
• Utilize the nursing process to implement goal-directed nursing care for a defined group of patients.
• Monitor patient condition and report changes to the Nursing Supervisor/Physician.
• Educate patients and families regarding conditions, treatment, discharge planning, and follow-up.
• Perform nursing skills in compliance with physician orders and hospital policies/procedures.
• Communicate with physicians and other departments to ensure continuity of care.
• Respond to emergencies per established procedures.
• Maintain and document patient records accurately and legibly.
• Provide clinical leadership for staff and assist in orientation of new personnel.
• Assume resource nurse responsibilities when necessary.
• Pursue professional development through seminars, in-services, and/or journals.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned.
