Orlando Health Advanced Rehabilitation Institute is seeking a Rehab Therapist Clinical Specialist to advance rehabilitation practices and provide clinical expertise to improve programs of care. The role emphasizes research, education, and system-wide improvements in patient outcomes.

The incumbent will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, mentor staff, and help lead performance improvement efforts while ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality patient care.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy or Speech Language Pathology.
• Current license in the State of Florida as an OT/PT/SLP professional.
• Maintains current BLS certification.
• If Speech Language Pathologist, must have CCC-SLP certification.

Aufgaben

• Demonstrates awareness of legal issues, patient rights, and regulatory compliance.
• Acts as a clinical resource and participates in performance improvement activities.
• Guides day-to-day operations within the assigned unit and supports team development.
• Treats patients according to professional standards of practice.
• Contributes to research and dissemination of findings to relevant audiences.
• Participates in program development, supervision, safety and infection control as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
