Job summary

Summa Health Medical Group in Akron, Ohio seeks an inpatient Stroke Neurologist to join the Neuroscience Institute. The role offers a 7-on/7-off block for 23 weeks per year with strong team collaboration across neurosurgery, neurocritical care, endovascular and trauma programs.

The selected physician will work within a fully integrated care model, participate in clinical research and quality initiatives, and may hold an academic appointment with Northeast Ohio Medical University.

Qualifications

• Board certification and/or eligibility in Neurology.
• Current unrestricted license or ability to obtain license to practice medicine in Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient stroke neurohospitalist coverage within a 7-on/7-off block (23 weeks/year).
• Collaborate with Neurosurgery, Neurocritical Care, Endovascular and Critical Care Trauma teams for seamless care.
• Participate in an integrated care model from emergency intervention through recovery.

The position offers inpatient coverage on a flexible 7-on/7-off block schedule for 23 weeks per year, which promotes both work-life balance and continuity of care.This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role within a highly integrated, multidisciplinary team.
