Summa Health Medical Group in Akron, Ohio, invites you to join our Neuroscience Institute as an inpatient Stroke Neurologist. This employed position offers a 7-on/7-off block schedule for 23 weeks per year, supporting work-life balance while delivering high-quality care to stroke patients.

You will collaborate with Neurosurgery, Neurocritical Care, Endovascular and Critical Care teams, participating in research and program development within a fully integrated care model.

Qualificações

• Board certification in Neurology or eligibility.
• Current Ohio medical license or ability to obtain license.
• Inpatient stroke care experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide inpatient stroke care within a multidisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with Neurosurgery, Neurocritical Care, Endovascular and Critical Care teams.
• Participate in clinical research and program development.
• Follow the 7-on/7-off block schedule (23 weeks/year) for coverage.

The position offers inpatient coverage on a flexible 7-on/7-off block schedule for 23 weeks per year, which promotes both work-life balance and continuity of care.This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role within a highly integrated, multidisciplinary team. The selected provider will work in close collaboration alongside Neurosurgery, Neurocritical Care, Endovascular, and Critical Care Trauma programs to ensure seamless, coordinated care from emergency intervention through recovery. Candidate Qualifications*

• Board certification and/or eligibility in Neurology
• A current unrestricted license or the ability to obtain a license to practice medicine in Ohio
