Job summary

Summa Health is seeking an inpatient Stroke Neurologist to join our Neuroscience Institute in Akron, Ohio. The role offers a 7-on/7-off block schedule for 23 weeks per year, enabling work-life balance while delivering comprehensive stroke care.

You will work collaboratively with Neurosurgery, Neurocritical Care, Endovascular, and Critical Care Trauma teams in a fully integrated care model. This employed position provides opportunities for involvement in clinical research and program development

Qualifications

• Board certification and/or eligibility in Neurology.
• A current unrestricted license or the ability to obtain a license to practice medicine in Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient stroke neurology coverage on a 7-on/7-off block schedule for 23 weeks per year.
• Collaborate with Neurosurgery, Neurocritical Care, Endovascular and Critical Care Trauma teams to deliver coordinated care from emergency intervention through recovery.
• Engage in clinical research, quality initiatives, and program development as part of Summa Neurosciences.
