Job summary

Summa Health is seeking an inpatient Stroke Neurologist to join their Neuroscience Institute in Akron, Ohio. The role offers inpatient coverage on a flexible 7-on/7-off block schedule for 23 weeks per year, promoting work-life balance and continuity of care.

The successful candidate will collaborate with Neurosurgery, Neurocritical Care, Endovascular and Critical Care Trauma teams to deliver coordinated care from emergency intervention through recovery in a fully integrated neurosciences program.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in Neurology.
• Current OH license or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient stroke neurology care on a 7-on/7-off schedule (23 weeks/year).
• Collaborate with Neurosurgery, Neurocritical Care, Endovascular and Critical Care teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Participate in program development and quality initiatives where applicable.

Candidate Qualifications
