Job summary

Summa Health Medical Group in Akron, OH is seeking an inpatient Stroke Neurologist to join our Neuroscience Institute. The position offers a flexible 7-on/7-off block schedule for 23 weeks per year, promoting work-life balance and continuity of care from emergency intervention through recovery.

The selected physician will work in a multidisciplinary team with Neurosurgery, Neurocritical Care, Endovascular and Critical Care Trauma, with extensive in-house imaging and lab capabilities.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Neurology or eligibility is required/desired.
• Current unrestricted medical license in Ohio or ability to obtain one is required/desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient stroke neurology coverage in a 7-on/7-off block schedule (23 weeks per year).
• Collaborate with Neurosurgery, Neurocritical Care, Endovascular and Critical Care Trauma teams to ensure coordinated care from emergency intervention to recovery.

The position offers inpatient coverage on a flexible 7-on/7-off block schedule for 23 weeks per year, which promotes both work-life balance and continuity of care.
