Job summary

Holston Valley Medical Center (HVMC), part of Ballad Health, in Kingsport, TN, seeks a full-time Neurohospitalist for inpatient coverage. The role includes 7 days on / 7 days off, 24-hour and 12-hour daytime coverage with telephonic support, and an average patient volume of 12–15 (including consults).

The position encompasses inpatient stroke and general neurology, ICU/ER duties, and EEG reading. Ballad Health offers a competitive base salary, relocation assistance, CME allowance, and retirement

Qualifications

• Board-certified/board-eligible in neurology.
• Inpatient neurohospitalist experience preferred.
• Involves stroke and general neurology responsibilities, ICU consults, EEG reading.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient stroke and general neurology coverage.
• Perform ICU and floor consults, plus ER coverage as needed.
• Participate in EEG reading and routine EEG evaluation.
