The Cedars-Sinai Stroke and Neurologic Rehabilitation Program helps people with neurologic deficits resulting from cerebrovascular (stroke) disease, central nervous system diseases (Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis and myelopathy), neuromuscular disorders (myasthenia gravis, ALS, Guillain-Barre) and postsurgical brain and spinal cord injuries. Physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists offer treatment to help improve communication, physical, cognitive and vision functioning to encourage self-reliance and achieve a successful re-integration at home, in the community and at work.
The Neurovascular Ultrasound Laboratory is looking for a Per Diem Technologist who specializes in Transcranial Doppler (TCD) technology who can perform both basic and advanced TCD studies including vasospasm, circulatory arrest, sickle cell, traumatic brain injury, stroke risk assessment, embolus detection monitoring, agitated saline bubble studies, and CO2 vasomotor reactivity within acute care ICU, ED, bedside, and outpatient environments.
