Job summary

Northwestern Memorial Hospital is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Comprehensive Stroke Center team. This position involves providing comprehensive care for patients on the inpatient stroke services, collaborating with a team of medical professionals to ensure high-quality treatment.

The APP will work a Monday-Friday schedule with occasional weekends, contributing to patient care and quality improvement initiatives. The role requires a Master’s degree and Illinois nursing license, with preference for candidates having experience in neurology.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from accredited school.
• Acute care certification required for APRNs.
• Current license required as Registered Nurse in Illinois.
• Neurology rotation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for stroke patients.
• Lead efforts on patient throughput management.
• Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to protocols.
