Job summary

Alpha Paving Industries LLC is seeking a dependable Striping Crew Laborer to support pavement marking projects on roadways, parking lots and other paved surfaces. You will assist with layout, painting, cleanup, and traffic control, and you will work outdoors in varying conditions with the crew.

The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented and capable of lifting up to 75 lbs, following instructions, and communicating effectively with teammates.

Qualifications

• Experience in pavement marking is a plus.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and perform heavy labor.
• Comfortable working outdoors in heat and inclement weather.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Valid driver's license preferred; CDL is a plus.
• Ability to work long hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Willingness to travel overnight when projects are outside the local area.

Responsibilities

• Assist with layout and preparation of work areas for striping, including measuring and chalk lining.
• Load, unload, and organize paint, thermoplastic materials, stencils, and equipment.
• Operate hand tools and support striping machinery under supervision.
• Mask and protect surfaces that do not require markings.
• Apply paint or thermoplastic material using sprayers, hand liners, or other tools as directed.
• Set up traffic control devices and signage to ensure safe work zones.
• Perform cleanup of tools, equipment, and job site at the end of each shift.
• Follow instructions from the Foreman and communicate effectively with team members.
• Wear proper PPE and comply with all safety requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
