Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a Finishing Operator support role in Manhattan. The position involves preparing products for processing, removing mandrels, and staging hoses for the finishing stage. You will troubleshoot issues to maximize production, complete necessary paperwork, and transfer mandrels to subsequent steps.

The role requires basic math and reading/writing skills, good communication, and a mechanical aptitude. Overtime, including weekends, may be required to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Production experience is preferred but not required.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Basic math, reading and writing skills.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare product for processing according to work instructions and apply designated pressure for blow-out.
• Troubleshoot removal issues to maximize production.
• Remove excess water from processed hose.
• Complete paperwork and indicate hose length for next stage.
• Transfer mandrel to next stage processing.
• Work overtime including extended shifts and weekends as needed.
