Job summary

Massage Envy Bayside is hiring a Stretch Provider to deliver Total Body Stretch services, helping clients improve flexibility and performance. You’ll communicate with clients to tailor sessions and set expectations, and stay engaged throughout each visit to meet goals.

Qualifications

• Licensed or certified to perform services in New York (MT).
• Bachelor’s degree for CPT or current personal training certification required.
• 300 hours massage therapy education for MT student.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Total Body Stretch services to improve flexibility, mobility and performance.
• Identify client needs and set clear expectations.
• Stay connected with clients during sessions to achieve goals.
• Suggest follow-up visits and additional services to pursue wellness goals.

Qualified Candidates:

• Are a Massage Therapist, Certified Personal Trainer, Massage Therapy Student, or Bodywork Specialist
• If MT: Satisfy all licensing/certification requirements to perform services in New York.
• If CPT: Have a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or related field OR a current personal training certification from an accredited program
• If MT Student: Have completed 300 hours of massage therapy education
• If Bodywork Specialist: Have worked a minimum of one year in fitness coaching, therapeutic bodywork or related field AND meet field-specific education and licensing/certification requirements.
• Have a genuine passion for improving the lives of others
• Are eager for growth and desire to build on their bodywork mastery

Day-to-Day:

• Deliver customized Total Body Stretch services to promote clients’ flexibility, mobility and performance
• Communicate with clients to identify their needs and set clear expectations
• Stay connected to clients throughout each session to achieve the goals of each service
• Recommend follow-up visits and additional services to help clients pursue their wellness goals
