Job summary

Lovelace Health System in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Day Shift PRN Echocardiography Lab Stress Test Technician to support cardiology stress testing and related exams. You will assist cardiologists with cardiac procedures, monitor and maintain lab systems and equipment, perform ECGs, and help ensure patient safety and data accuracy for diagnostic testing.

This role requires a HS Diploma and knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and radiation safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and radiation safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assists cardiologists with cardiac procedures and exams, including stress tests.
• Maintains and monitors systems, equipment, and supplies for assigned department.
• Performs complex and technical electrocardiograms per the request of a physician in the diagnosis of arrhythmias.
• Utilizes MUSE operation and functions to include acquisition, editing, transmission, and retrieval of data.
• May provide clerical support for assigned departments.
• Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Preferred Job Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in a CVT program from an accredited institution; Certified Medical Assistant; experience in physiology; Paramedic or EMT; basic Arrhythmia course; and completion of an EKG course.
