Job summary

The candidate will review drawings, perform calculations, and write stress reports, using CATIA and FEMAP/PATRAN/Nastran tools while managing multiple priorities to meet schedule and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related field; 10 yrs in a technical discipline or 15 yrs broad engineering experience.
• Experience with stress analysis, review of engineering drawings, calculations, and stress reports.
• Experience with FAA CFR procedures and related certification activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform liaison duties and stress analysis for Green aircraft repair, rework, and alteration.
• Review engineering drawings and prepare calculations; write/review stress reports.
• Coordinate with multi-discipline team to balance customer expectations and schedules.
• Apply problem-solving to structural design, stress work, and troubleshooting while maintaining tasks.
