Job summary

Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is seeking an experienced engineer with at least eight years in aerostructure analysis and stress analysis. A BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil) is required.

The role focuses on static/fatigue analysis of aerospace structures, including nacelle components, and involves significant FEM work using NASTRAN and PATRAN. Independent work and quick engineering judgment are valued traits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline (Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil).
• Minimum 8 years of experience in aerostructure analyses and stress analysis.
• Experience with static and fatigue analysis on aerospace structures.
• Nacelle stress analysis and repair analysis experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Static/ Fatigue Analysis on Composite and Metallic Aerospace Structural Components.
• Stress Analysis experience is a must. Strong hand calculation analysis experience (min 8 years in Aerostructure analysis).
• Nacelle Stress Analysis Experience, Repair Analysis preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of Experience in FEM Skills (NASTRAN/ PATRAN) preferred.
• Ability for quick engineering judgment to release repairs quickly.
• Mostly able to work independently or with minimal guidance.
