The Maritime Manufacturing Technology team is responsible for rapidly developing and implementing manufacturing technologies and processes for cutting‑edge defense hardware, including deployable static and moving surface, undersea and sea to air vehicles and scaling these products in our new manufacturing facilities.
We are looking for a Stress Analysis Engineer to join our rapidly growing team in Santa Ana, CA to lead stress analysis, materials characterization, and design allowables development for mission‑critical maritime and subsea hardware. In this role, you will be the foundational structural authority bridging the gap between classical stress analysis, finite element modeling (FEM), and Materials & Processes (M&P) metallurgy.
You will own the structural integrity of advanced pressure‑boundary enclosures, launch systems, and high‑consequence maritime structures from clean‑sheet architecture through fabrication and qualification testing. This is an individual contributor role with high autonomy and the opportunity to scale into a technical capability lead as the product line expands.
US Salary Range
$129,000 - $171,000 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
