Job summary

D1 is an athletic-based group training facility in Lakeland, FL, seeking a dedicated coach to foster a positive, high-energy environment for athletes of all ages. You will guide group workouts, personal training, and teams, while delivering expert advice on strength, speed, and nutrition.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with members, ensure safe technique, and help athletes reach their goals through motivating, on-time sessions and individualized progress.

Qualifications

• Has a valid AED/CPR/First Aid certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of strength & conditioning-related experience in group, team, or personal training setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Foster a positive, motivating environment for all athletes.
• Maximize client retention through best-in-class service: coaching, training, nutrition, and accountability.
• Modify and adapt movements that are best suited for the individual at hand.
• Reduce an athlete's risk of injury by focusing on proper technique and movement patterns.
