An innovative baseball player development center is seeking a passionate Strength & Conditioning Coach to enhance the performance of athletes. This role involves conducting fitness assessments, designing tailored training programs, and focusing on injury prevention. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, understands the science of movement, and is eager to grow both personally and professionally. With flexible scheduling and career advancement opportunities, this position is perfect for those who are committed to helping athletes reach their full potential on the field. Join a team that prioritizes communication, creativity, and client success!
We are a baseball player development center with about 18K of new facility space and a large gym that needs to be built out.
Our client focus: occasional elementary schoolers and primarily middle school, high school, and college players who are looking to get to the next level whether it be D1, D2, or D3 colleges or training to make a JV or Varsity team in High School.
Our goal: to observe the small details in form, in discipline and in how to build our athletes into better performers. The strength and power generated has to be converted to reaction time, balance, stability, core strength, lateral movement patterns, and speed (to name a few identifiable results).
We have several former pros who work with our crew and we need weekend warriors who can drop in early and train our athletes. Our culture is serving the obsessive athlete who wants to compete and perform at their optimal levels on the field for baseball. This means we need a strength coach who is equally or even more passionate about training, understands the human body, movement patterns, is constantly learning to improve oneself, and is willing to communicate with our baseball instructors.
We primarily have baseball players in our gym and want to enhance baseball-specific skill sets through specific patterning or repetition. That said, creative models of training are welcome!
We need a strength coach who understands how to build strength, power and speed training, mobility, agility drills, focusing on small and large muscle groups. We have notable collaborations with outside organizations across the US, and it is a great opportunity to expand your own knowledge and network with our ventures. We have been in business for about 3 years and moved locations recently to house our expanding clientele.
Our culture is about putting our clients first, serving their needs and wants to the best of our ability. We value communication, the ability to converse comfortably within the context of your craft, execute on consistent deliverables, and support one another with team meetings and engagements. We will be hosting seminars on a variety of different topics regarding health and wellness. We are in build-out mode, so this is a perfect opportunity for those who have an entrepreneurial spirit and can go with the flow, juggling perhaps multiple roles within the day as a trainer. Your hourly fee will be contingent on your qualifiers.
If you have certifications and more degrees in learning, this will bump up your salary and offerings. We need passionate and resolute problem solvers who can work through a process and a plan, as part of a team.
We are seeking a Strength & Conditioning Coach who can prioritize baseball-focused needs like strength, speed, agility, and mobility yet understand how strength and power play a defining role in everything we do. As a Strength & Conditioning Coach, we would like someone who will perform fitness assessments, movement screens, design customized training programs, develop the athletic prowess of primarily baseball players (and other sports), and provide insights on injury prevention.
Your primary goal is to help clients define their fitness objectives, on-field needs to compete at higher levels, and to understand how to communicate with players and parents alike. We are about tracking information and creating benchmarks to measure progress, so a process is very important to us. We need someone who has a strong understanding of how the body works scientifically and can optimize strength, speed, and endurance. The ideal candidate is a junkie for the gym who wants to grow personally as we are constantly challenged with how to address juxtaposing needs: balance or power, strength or speed, and when to rest or power through a program, professionally. We ideally would like NCSA-CPT certified coaches.
We can offer part-time opportunities which will evolve into a full-time position - a two-way street and a potential win-win. We do many 1:1 private training and small group enhancement model training to provide the customized wants of our clientele.
