Job summary

Pinson TM Limited is recruiting Trainee and Qualified Traffic Management Operatives in the UK. You will set up temporary traffic lights, manage traffic flow, and ensure safety and compliance with RAMS and HSE guidelines.

Applicants should have Lantra TM qualifications, be able to pass drugs/alcohol checks, hold a valid UK driving licence (≤6 points), and have rights to work in the UK. The role involves working with direct and subcontract labour, meeting targets, and reading CAD traffic

Qualifications

• Lantra approved traffic management qualifications required.
• Candidates must be able to pass a drugs and alcohol check.
• Right to work in the UK is mandatory.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points required.

Responsibilities

• Set up temporary traffic lights at roads as required.
• Manage traffic flow at temporary lights and ensure public compliance.
• Report to site or operations manager as needed.
• Read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Set up and remove traffic management within required time frames.
• Assist with traffic diversions and maintain safe working practices.

Pinson TM are working with some of the largest traffic management companies across the UK, and due to an increase in work, we are recruiting for Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking both operatives and drivers with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

All Candidates must have experience in one or more of the below positions:

• Streetworks Operative

Scope of Role:

Trainee Operatives & Qualified Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.

Duties may include:

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required


• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this


• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager


• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work


• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.


• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.


• Setting up traffic lights.


• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.


• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.


• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.


• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.


• To help with the unloading/loading of materials.


• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and Risk Assessments.


• Reporting plant & vehicle defects.
