Job summary

Pinson TM Limited is recruiting Trainee and Qualified Traffic Management Operatives to support major traffic management projects across the UK. You will work with direct labour and sub-contract teams to set up traffic management, monitor flow, and ensure compliance with safety and CAD drawings.

The role requires Lantra qualifications, the ability to pass drug/alcohol checks, and a valid UK driving licence. A commitment to safety and teamwork is essential, with training opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Lantra qualification required to perform traffic management duties.
• Must be able to pass drugs and alcohol checks.
• Right to work in the UK is mandatory.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Set up temporary traffic lights where required.
• Manage traffic flow at temporary lights to ensure public safety.
• Read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Report issues to site or operations manager.
• Maintain and remove traffic management within required timescales.
• Ensure safe working practices and comply with RAMS and Health & Safety at Work Act.

Pinson TM are working with some of the largest traffic management companies across the UK, and due to an increase in work, we are recruiting for Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking both operatives and drivers with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

All Candidates must have experience in one or more of the below positions:

Scope of Role:

Trainee Operatives & Qualified Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.

Duties may include:

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager
• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights.
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.
• To help with the unloading/loading of materials.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and
  Risk Assessments.
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects.

• Lantra approved Traffic Management Qualifications
