Job summary

SNIPES is a leading sneaker and streetwear retailer with a global presence. The Sales Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling stock and replenishment, and maintaining the store’s brand appearance.

In this role you will drive sales, participate in promotions, and uphold standards for customer engagement, product knowledge, and visual merchandising while supporting store management and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
• Must present a neat appearance and personal grooming
• Candidate will be required to stand for long periods of time throughout their shift
• Lifting between 15-30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed established goals including sales, hourly productivity, average dollar sale, units per transaction, conversion, and other KPI’s.
• Actively participate in contests, promotions and sales incentive programs.
• Maintain knowledge of selling skills and customer service standards as set forth in training.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers through a friendly attitude and excellent customer service.
• Meet store appearance, product knowledge and store operations standards.
• Assist store management to maintain the store; keep sales floor and stock area clean and organized.
• Follow visual merchandising standards and ensure displays are up to date.
• Assist with markdowns in a timely manner and work with minimal supervision.
• Follow security policies and report loss prevention issues.
• Monitor for shortages and respond to external/internal theft.
