This position offers a pay range of $20.34/hr - $31.40/hr, depending on skills and experience. The pay range details are provided by SPRINGVILLE CITY CORPORATION, and your actual salary will be discussed with your recruiter.
Equipment Operator I: Grade 10, $20.34 - $27.44/hr. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, and obtaining a Class A CDL within six months of hire.
Equipment Operator II: Grade 12, $22.38 - $31.40/hr. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 2,500 hours or three years of heavy equipment operation experience, a Class A CDL, forklift, flagger, and traffic control certifications, and 500 hours of commercial snowplowing experience. Previous sweeper truck operation experience is preferred.

Reports to: Streets Supervisor
Under the direction of the Streets Field Supervisor, the role involves street construction, maintenance, cleaning, snow removal, and operating various motorized equipment such as sweeper trucks, front-end loaders, bobcats, rollers, backhoes, forklifts, dump trucks, and service trucks. Responsibilities include sweeping, storm drain maintenance, weed spraying, gutter cleaning, painting, traffic sign installation, and emergency flood control assistance. The position requires working as part of a crew, following safety procedures, and being available for on-call work.
This is a full-time, non-exempt position classified as entry level, within the management and manufacturing job functions, in the truck transportation industry. Drug screening and background checks are required.
