The City of Bastrop Streets & Drainage Team is seeking a Maintenance Worker to perform skilled and semi-skilled labor in construction, repair, and maintenance of city streets, drainage systems, and rights of way. You will operate light duty equipment and perform manual labor in various weather conditions.

Under supervision, you will assist with maintenance tasks, traffic control, safety procedures, and record-keeping.

Qualificações

• Six months to one year of work experience operating light duty equipment.
• Valid Texas Class C Driver License with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsabilidades

• Operate various hand‑held, manual, gas, or electrically powered tools for street, drainage, and rights‑of‑way maintenance.
• Repair and maintain city streets, potholes, curbing, and drainage systems.
• Attend safety meetings and follow PPE procedures.
