Job summary

City of Rowlett, Texas seeks a Street Maintenance role to repair streets, alleys, signs and drainage, while supervising crews and maintaining records. You’ll manage work orders, equipment, and safety, with regular attendance a must. CDL and licenses are required, plus leadership experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; three years street maintenance experience with lead duties.
• Ability to read, write, follow instructions and lead daily work activities.
• Knowledge of concrete and asphalt repair techniques and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair of streets, alleys, signs and drainage systems.
• Coordinate crew activities, manage materials and equipment, and train subordinates.
• Maintain records, complete work orders and ensure timely, safe operations.
• Ensure regular attendance and professional relationships with others.
• Supervise routine maintenance and respond to service requests as needed.
