Job summary

Inframark is seeking a Streets Crew Leader to oversee daily street maintenance and repair activities, leading a field crew in a safe, efficient, and quality-focused manner. The role emphasizes outdoor work, teamwork, and adherence to safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, 4+ years in public works or related fields, and a valid driver’s license; CDL is preferred or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• At least four years of experience in public works, street maintenance, construction, or related field.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred or ability to obtain.
• Strong knowledge of roadway maintenance, drainage systems, and equipment operation.

• Lead and support a crew performing street, sidewalk, and drainage maintenance.
• Assign daily work tasks and monitor progress to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Repair potholes, road surfaces, curbs, sidewalks, and other public infrastructure.

• Respond to emergencies, weather events, and after-hours callouts as needed.

Are you an experienced public works, street maintenance, or construction professional who enjoys leading a team and working outdoors?

We are looking for a Streets Crew Leader to oversee daily street maintenance and repair activities while working alongside crew members in the field. This position plays an important role in maintaining safe roads, drainage systems, sidewalks, and public spaces throughout the community.

The ideal candidate is a dependable leader who values safety, takes pride in quality work, and can motivate others to get the job done right.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and support a crew performing street, sidewalk, and drainage maintenance.
• Assign daily work tasks and monitor progress to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.
• Repair potholes, road surfaces, curbs, sidewalks, and other public infrastructure.
• Maintain drainage systems, including ditches, culverts, and catch basins.
• Install and repair street signs, traffic control devices, and pavement markings.
• Operate and assist with equipment such as dump trucks, backhoes, skid steers, and other construction equipment.
• Inspect tools, vehicles, and equipment to ensure they are in safe working condition.
• Train crew members on safe work practices and proper equipment operation.
• Respond to emergency situations, weather events, and after-hours callouts when needed.
• Complete daily reports, work orders, and other required documentation.

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least four years of experience in public works, street maintenance, construction, or a related field.
• Previous experience leading or directing a work crew is preferred.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• CDL is preferred or the ability to obtain one.
• Strong knowledge of roadway maintenance, drainage systems, and equipment operation.
• Commitment to safety, teamwork, and customer service.

Work Environment

This position works primarily outdoors and may be exposed to heat, cold, rain, humidity, dust, noise, traffic, and construction equipment. Employees must follow all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds or more on a regular basis.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Willingness to work overtime and respond to emergency callouts when required.
