Job summary

Utility Lines Construction Services, LLC is seeking an entry-level Lighting Technician C to install and maintain streetlights and related equipment. You will work from aerial devices, ladders, and ground level to support lighting projects and ensure safe, compliant work sites.

Responsibilities include assisting a higher-level technician, handling equipment up to 600 volts, and communicating with property owners. Valid CDL preferred; travel may be required for storm response.

Qualifications

• Be able to operate heavy equipment including bucket trucks and digger derricks.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills in dynamic field conditions.
• Experience working with energized high voltage systems and related safety protocols.
• Ability to climb different structures and use required climbing tools.
• Identify, operate and service all required tools and equipment (bucket truck, digger derrick, tensioners, puller, rollers, hand tools).

Responsibilities

• Clears work area and maintains safe jobsite conditions.
• Excavates to assist in installation of structures or cable as required by contract.
• Communicate work with public and private property owners.
• May require flagging certification and exposure to traffic.
• Work on elevated surfaces and assist higher-level technician.
• Safely work on voltage up to 600 volts with minimal oversight.
• Other duties related to lighting power supply installation.
