Job description

The City of Saint Paul Public Works Street Maintenance Division is hiring individuals to perform manual labor in the construction, maintenance, and repair of streets, highways, alleys, sidewalks, and City right-of-way.

•Candidates with a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) have a starting wage of $31.30 - $34.74 per hour.
•Candidates with a Class D Driver's License or equivalent and relevant work experience will have a starting wage of $25.76 per hour.

Here's what you can expect to do:
•Work outdoors in all types of weather; nights, weekends, holidays, and reasonable overtime as required.
•Perform snow removal and trash removal from the public right-of-way.
•Operate and maintain equipment.
•Sweep and clean streets and performs traffic control in the right-of-way for maintenance operations.
•Operate trucks, gasoline powered, and electric tools.
