The Orange County Housing Department is seeking a Street Outreach Specialist to work with individuals living unsheltered, connecting them with housing and services. The role focuses on building relationships, providing case management, advocacy, and referrals to appropriate agencies, with supervision under the Housing Helpline & Outreach Coordinator.
This time-limited, fully benefited position requires outdoor rounds, some evenings and weekends, and travel within Orange County.
This is a permanent, time-limited position. Time-Limited positions are fully benefited positions that are grant-funded. While they typically continue each year, the continuation is dependent on funding and is only guarenteed one fiscal year at a time.
The work involves the responsibility of working with individuals living unsheltered to connect them with housing and other services.
