The Center for Youth Services is seeking a Street Outreach Coordinator in Rochester to lead street outreach shifts, supervise interns, train volunteers, and oversee the Safe Place program. The role requires working non-traditional hours including several evenings and some weekends, and participation in the on-call rotation to respond to crisis calls.
The position is full-time, 35 hours per week, with leadership responsibilities across community outreach and service delivery within the agency.
In addition to being responsible for all duties and activities assigned to Street Outreach Counselors, the Street Outreach Coordinator is tasked with scheduling the street outreach shifts, community mapping, training of interns and volunteers, facilitating the Safe Place program, providing supervision to youth peer outreach interns, and other leadership duties as assigned. This position will work "non-traditional" hours. The Coordinator is required to work several evenings per week and some weekends. This position is part of the agency's on-call rotation, requiring the Coordinator to be available to respond to crisis calls from various programs.
This is a full-time position at 35 hours a week.
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in human services, education or a related field; and one-year experience or an equivalent combination of education, employment and life experience.
