In addition to being responsible for all duties and activities assigned to Street Outreach Counselors, the Street Outreach Coordinator is tasked with scheduling the street outreach shifts, community mapping, training of interns and volunteers, facilitating the Safe Place program, providing supervision to youth peer outreach interns, and other leadership duties as assigned. This position will work "non-traditional" hours. The Coordinator is required to work several evenings per week and some weekends. This position is part of the agency's on-call rotation, requiring the Coordinator to be available to respond to crisis calls from various programs. This is a full-time position at 35 hours a week.
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in human services, education or a related field; and one-year experience or an equivalent combination of education, employment and life experience. In addition to the above, it is mandatory that candidates meet the following criteria prior to hire:
