Job summary

Strategic Government Resources, Inc. seeks a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator in Cleburne, Texas to operate a range of heavy equipment for maintaining, repairing, and constructing streets, drainage, and alley systems.

You may work alone or with a crew to complete tasks. Ideal candidates have two years of hands-on experience and a high school diploma or equivalent, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Texas Class B CDL with Tanker Endorsement (Class A within 180 days).

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in operating heavy motorized construction equipment such as track excavator, track loader, rubber tire loader, backhoe loader, etc.
• Sufficient skills are necessary to operate heavy equipment effectively and safely
• Sufficient understanding of and/or experience in pavement maintenance and construction
• Basic knowledge of grading and excavation techniques
• Ability to make minor repairs and adjustments to assigned equipment in the field or as directed
• Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with other employees
