Job summary

Blue Ribbon Global Technologies in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Software QA Associate to ensure quality of streaming content across our website, mobile apps, and Smart TV devices. You will design and execute manual test procedures, prepare testing hardware, and help build robust regression tests to prevent defects.

Collaborating with software engineers, product owners, and operations teams, you will participate in Agile ceremonies and report risks daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field preferred.
• Proven experience with content streaming service in support, testing or product role.
• 2 years of manual testing with regressions, systems, and integrations preferred.
• Must have a positive attitude and professional appearance and mannerism.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be highly organized and capability of working independently with little supervision.
• Must have strong collaboration skills and be capable of working with a large team comprised of multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test procedures and test cases for new and/or existing products.
• Design, develop, and perform regression testing via manual testing to ensure product changes and features have been implemented successfully.
• Prepare testing hardware with latest release builds for testing.
• Assist the QA Lead on projects when requested.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure that all requirements are met.
• Review product requirements and design specifications for preparing/conducting system level testing.
• Report project status, concerns, and risks within the project to the QA Lead tester.
• Provide status of their efforts on a daily (morning Scrum) and weekly (Team Huddle) basis.
• Participate in planning meetings and other Agile/Scrum ceremonies as called upon.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
