Job summary

Somerset Staffing is seeking a Software QA Associate to ensure a seamless streaming experience across our website, mobile apps, and Smart TV devices. You will test updates, create test cases, and document results, working with engineers, product owners, and operations teams.

You will design manual tests, execute regression plans, and help prepare testing hardware for new releases, while communicating progress daily and in Scrum ceremonies.

Qualifications

• Experience testing streaming content platforms or similar media services.
• Familiarity with regression, system and integration testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test procedures and test cases for new and existing products.
• Design, develop, and perform regression testing via manual testing.
• Prepare testing hardware with latest release builds for testing.
• Assist the QA Lead on projects when requested.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure requirements are met.
• Review product requirements and design specs for system-level testing.
• Report status, concerns, and risks to the QA Lead.
• Provide daily and weekly updates in Scrum ceremonies.
• Participate in planning meetings and other Agile ceremonies.
