Stay ahead with insights on chart performance, streaming trends, and breaking news while adhering to ScreenRant’s editorial standards. Flexible PST afternoon shifts and weekend availability are preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, English Literature, or a related field.
Broad knowledge of Movies, TV and entertainment across genres.
Strong familiarity with streaming landscape and how performance is measured.
2+ years of experience with a credible digital publication.
Excellent writer with strong command of English and high accuracy.
Ability to write high-quality articles with fast turnaround.
Comfortable working in a fully remote environment.

Responsibilities

Write timely streaming news and streaming chart articles in ScreenRant’s house style, optimized for Google Discover.
Track and quickly cover streaming performance data and translate charts into compelling stories.
Monitor major services for breaking news, new titles, renewals, and trends.
Craft Discover-optimized headlines and framing without clickbait.
Update and refresh older content as charts shift.
Accept and apply feedback from editorial team.
Communicate openly with the editorial team.
Maintain a flexible schedule, with PST afternoon hours; weekend availability valued.
