Qualifications

• Two to four years in a medium-to-large broadcast newsroom, with live streaming or digital-first experience preferred.
• Strong news judgment, AP‑style writing, and control-room leadership under tight deadlines.
• Good understanding of broadcast law, FCC rules, and editorial best practices.
• Proficiency with multiplatform storytelling and audience engagement strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead live coverage and editorial execution with structured newscasts across linear and streaming platforms.
• Develop streaming-first content, write broadcast/digital copy, and coordinate graphics.
• Grow reach by distributing content on YouTube, TikTok, Facebook and Instagram; monitor real-time metrics.
• Collaborate with anchors, reporters, editors, and production to ensure cohesive coverage.
• Utilize iNews, streaming tools, and analytics to adapt rundowns and coverage on the fly.
