Job summary

FOX 5 DC / FOX 5 Plus seeks a Streaming Line Producer to lead live coverage across linear TV and digital streaming. You’ll shape rundowns, make real-time editorial decisions, and coordinate anchors, reporters, and production teams.

Bring 2–4 years in a newsroom, strong news judgment, AP style, and multiplatform storytelling. You’ll collaborate across platforms to deliver cohesive, high-quality journalism for viewers wherever they watch.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2–4 years as a news producer, line producer, or similar in a medium-to-large newsroom
• Editorial and live-production strength: strong news judgment, AP-style writing, control-room leadership
• Multiplatform storytelling understanding: social media strategy, digital video distribution, audience engagement
• Technology fluency: knowledge of rundown software, live streaming tools, control-room automation, video editing and publishing
• Education and leadership: bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Lead live coverage and editorial execution for linear and streaming platforms; manage rundowns and guide breaking-news coverage
• Create streaming-first, multiplatform content; develop live streams, explainers, interviews, and presentation elements
• Grow reach through smart distribution; monitor real-time metrics and adapt coverage for each platform
• Collaborate across newsroom teams to deliver cohesive, high-quality journalism across platforms
• Use evolving newsroom tech (iNews, streaming tools, analytics) and adapt as systems evolve
