Job summary

Northern Sydney Local Health District is seeking a Nurse Manager Grade 3 for Macquarie Hospital on a temporary full-time basis until 17 September 2027. The role provides professional nursing leadership to promote safe, high-quality care, support workforce excellence, and drive continuous improvement across MHDA services.

You will lead the clinical stream, ensure best practice nursing and the delivery of expert, patient-centred care, and oversee service development, change and quality processes.

Qualifications

• Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• NSW Driver’s licence.
• Post-graduate management qualification or extensive equivalent management experience.
• Experience in service development, change and quality processes.

What You'll Be Doing

The Stream Nurse Manager provides leadership across the clinical stream to ensure the delivery of best practice nursing, individual focused care, and management and organisation of the service and workforce.

Candidates Will Need To Meet The Following Criteria

• Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency (AHPRA) and Current NSW Driver’s licence.
• Relevant post-graduate management qualification, working towards same or extensive equivalent professional experience.
• Previous successful management of service development change and quality processes.
