The Department of Intercollegiate Athletics consists of more than 275 staff members and coaches and sponsors 30 varsity sports programs. These 30 programs include more than 850 student‑athletes who participate in the various sports programs annually within the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA).
The Strawberry Creek Studios Coordinator is a critical member of the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and the new unit tasked with content creation, digital and strategic communications, storytelling and gameday production. This position provides end‑to‑end, event‑specific support for gameday production, strategic communications and content creation. The Strawberry Creek Studios Coordinator serves as a central coordinator for event‑specific communications, marketing and content production needs, helping ensure those events are executed efficiently and on schedule. This role supports a variety of strategic initiatives and serves as a key resource for all staff across Strawberry Creek Studios. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and a collaborative approach to working across departments. The Strawberry Creek Studios Coordinator is critical to ensuring Strawberry Creek Studios efforts and events are run efficiently and that fans, donors, staff, and alumni are provided a positive experience when interacting with Cal Athletics.
Required to hold a valid driver's license, have a driving record that is in accordance with local policies/procedures, and/or enroll in the California Employer Pull Notice Program.

This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, analysis of internal equity, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience.
The budgeted hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is $30.58 to $35.05.
