Job summary

GAF is seeking a Strategy Special Projects Intern to support high-priority, cross-functional initiatives through research, data analysis, and coordinated workflows for leadership teams.

The role emphasizes planning, executing, and tracking projects from conception to completion, plus preparing executive summaries and progress reports for review by senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Education: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program (Business, Communications, Management, or related fields).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong project management and multi-tasking abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Proficient in Google Workspace.
• Highly adaptable, self-motivated, and comfortable working with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Project Support: Assist in planning, executing, and tracking cross-functional special projects from conception to completion.
• Research & Analysis: Gather, analyze, and synthesize data or market research to support strategic decision-making.
• Reporting & Presentations: Design clean slide decks, executive summaries, and progress reports for leadership review.
• Cross-Department Coordination: Communicate with internal teams to collect status updates, resolve bottlenecks, and track deliverables.
• Process Improvement: Identify operational inefficiencies and help build streamlined workflows or templates.

Base salary and/or rate of pay ranges listed are exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. Individual compensation offers will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant candidate experience and skill, education, and/or qualifications.

Base Hourly Rate: $20.00
