You are:

You have proven work experience in the Utilities industry and customer functions. You are a strategic problem solver with extensive consulting and industry experience. You are a clear and effective communicator, with an open, relatable manner with clients and colleagues. You perform well in an agile, fast-paced environment and know how to balance leadership with team contributions. You have led business development and sales efforts to provide transformative programs and targeted consulting engagements.

You have energy and drive, personal resilience, a passion for serving clients, and a love of continual learning. You excel at breaking down processes into logical parts and constructing clear reasoning and analyses to solve problems.

You also are:

  • Able to partner and build trusting relationships with Utility clients including Chief Customer Officers, Business Strategy leads, and Customer Operations leaders to make bold decisions intersecting business, digital technology, and operations
  • Able to collaborate across Accenture service groups and with executives to deliver technology and operational solutions
  • A strong critical thinker with the ability to understand client challenges and define effective strategies and solutions
  • Fluent in trends in Utilities, digital, commerce, and sales, positioning Accenture as a thought leader and trusted advisor
  • Have a high-level understanding of how technology platforms and ecosystems fit into the digital world and how digital technology is transforming business
  • Able to proactively identify opportunities for growth and value creation within existing and new client engagements
  • Excellent communication skills, including compelling storytelling for an executive audience
  • Able to develop high-performing teams and deliver projects exceeding expectations and profitability targets

The work:

The individual will apply industry expertise working directly with clients to bring strategic thinking to their digital, commerce, and sales challenges.

  • Understand client needs, develop new strategies, and deliver high-impact solutions that create value
  • Provide thought leadership on trends in digital transformation and customer operations within Utilities
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives and manage project delivery teams for successful implementation
  • Lead value analysis to generate insights and identify opportunities for value creation
  • Partner with clients to make bold decisions on priority issues
  • Grow expertise and coach junior team members to maintain thought leadership
  • Support profitability and identify opportunities for extension, cross-sell, or up-sell
  • Lead multiple workstreams and engage senior clients as the face of delivery

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 7+ years of experience in the utilities sector, including a robust understanding of customer markets
  • 4+ years in consulting, strategy, or similar roles
  • 4+ years leading multi-discipline teams

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience in Utilities or related industries
  • MBA or equivalent graduate degree
  • Delivered and sold large advisory programs in Utilities
  • Strong understanding of customer platforms like Salesforce, Oracle, SAP
  • Strong analytical skills with at least 2 years of insights-driven experience
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
