Job summary

Accenture LLP in Houston, TX seeks a Strategy Senior Manager to guide client strategy and execution in the Oil & Gas sector. You will lead engagements that apply AI and digital technologies to achieve year-over-year performance gains while shaping sustainable operating models.

You will drive analysis, develop business cases, and mentor teams, while building relationships and expanding opportunities in a global consulting context. Travel ~80% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, Economics or related field with 8 years in Consulting.
• Must have 8 years of experience in leading strategy consulting teams in energy industries and related capabilities.
• Experience applying management consulting tools and frameworks and using digital technologies to solve decarbonization problems.
• Proven ability to lead workshops with executive audiences and drive sales opportunities.

Strategy Senior Manager (Accenture LLP; Houston, TX): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Strategy Senior Manager in Houston, TX, and the job duties are as follows:

• Leverage deep industry knowledge across the Oil & Gas sectors to support clients in analyzing their enterprise wide issues, supply chain issues and guide them in defining and executing their strategy and goals.
• Lead engagements to help clients deploy technologies including artificial intelligence and digital technologies to deliver year-over-year performance improvement in alignment with Science Based Targets and Climate Goals.
• Leverage core consulting skills and industry expertise to understand and structure the clients' challenges; develop hypotheses on solutions; undertake market and trend assessments and develop business cases to unlock value and guide clients on their supply chain transformation.
• Lead workshops and interviews with senior client stakeholders to identify opportunities to achieve goals, reduce operational costs, and drive sustainable growth through innovation-led business models and operating model transformations.
• Analyze technical and financial data to generate insights for the client. Introduce frameworks and methodologies such as zero-based budgeting, digital operations, sustainable operating models, and smart energy production.
• Build client relationships and develop sales pipeline through opportunity, proposal, and commercial phase.
• Support knowledge building efforts such as developing offerings, assets, capabilities, and relevant thought leadership and engage with the wider Supply Chain community across Accenture globally.
• Lead high performing multidisciplinary teams, leading by example, actively mentoring others and contributing to performance management and recruitment activities.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, Economics or related field, plus 8 years of experience (of which 5 years must be progressive post-baccalaureate experience) in the Consulting industry.

Must have 8 years of experience in each of the following:

• Leading strategy consulting team connected to the energy industries;
• Performing business operations in asset-intensive resources industries;
• Performing qualitative analysis, research, and business case development;
• Applying management consulting tools and frameworks including business models, operating models, and business capability frameworks;
• Utilizing digital technologies, including data analytics tools, digital twins, and artificial intelligence, to solve clients' complex business and decarbonization problems; and
• Leading presentations and workshops with executive-level audiences and driving sales opportunities.

Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
