Job Type:Part-Time/ Non-Exempt
Position Location: Remote digital office (work from home), must be U.S. based. Minimal travel may be required for conference attendance, client meetings, and company-sponsored trainings and events.
Pay Scale:$20.00-$25.00 per hour
Skills: Primary source research. No financial modeling needed.

Position Summary:
In this role, you will leverage your expertise in primary source research, strong business acumen, and exceptional analytical skills to help clients solve complex business challenges. As a key contributor, you will apply your investigative mindset and strong interviewing skills to deeply understand industries, companies, and strategic opportunities. You will support both consulting and investment projects, collaborating across multiple internal teams to deliver research-driven insights that inform impact decisions.

The ideal candidate is naturally curious, with exceptional skills in communication, research, and qualitative analysis. They are proficient in utilizing a wide range of research tools and excel at conducting in-depth, journalistic interviews with stakeholders at all levels within an organizations and across industries. Above all, they take pride in delivering high-quality, timely deliverables consistently meeting and exceeding client expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform extensive primary source research, including one-on-one interviews and telephone out-bounding, gathering a variety of qualitative business data in order to provide key insights to stakeholders.
  • Take detailed notes during interviews to ensure thorough documentation of insights
  • Analyze primary research data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities and translate these findings into actionable insights.
  • Conduct ongoinginternaland externalclient updates on progress of research findings.
  • Collaborate closely with seniorconsultants to incorporate research findings into comprehensive reports and presentations that support client strategy development.
  • Stay updated on industry trends to enhance the quality of proposals and research scripts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or related field. Master’s degree a plus, but not required.
  • 1+ years of related experience in primary research, strategy consulting, or market research, with a proven ability to gather insights from industry experts and business owners.
  • Proficiency in using research tools and methodologies.
  • Strong business acumen and general interest in consulting across various industries.
  • Excellent communication and interviewing skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret qualitative business data.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and complete deliverables on schedule.
  • Self starter, able to workindependentlyas well as part of a collaborativeteam.
