Job summary

Cozen O’Connor, a leading U.S. law firm, seeks a Strategy & Operations Manager to join the Office of the Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer.

The role offers variety, exposure to decision-makers, and the chance to work across practices, departments, and leadership on growth, AI, and operational transformations. You will work across practice groups, drive strategic initiatives, and lead end-to-end redesigns of core processes, with a focus on delivering measurable impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in management consulting, strategy, or business operations roles.
• Experience structuring ambiguous problems, performing analysis, and driving execution.
• Strong analytical toolkit—fluent in Excel and PowerPoint, comfortable with data and AI tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to brief senior executives.
• Project management discipline—manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
• Genuine curiosity about AI and emerging technologies in professional services.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA/JD or advanced degree a plus but not required.
• Experience in legal, financial, or professional services is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of the firm’s strategic plan.
• Partner with practice group leaders, department heads, and administrative leaders on growth strategy, market expansion, pricing, talent, and other topics.
• Build analyses, materials, and recommendations used by firm leadership to make decisions.
• Translate findings into actionable plans and stay involved through execution.
• Identify high-value AI use cases with our innovation team and shape buy-vs-build decisions.
• Lead end-to-end redesigns of complex, cross-functional business processes from diagnosis through implementation and adoption.
