Job summary

Cozen O’Connor, a leading U.S. law firm, seeks a Strategy & Operations Manager for the Office of the Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer. You’ll handle strategy, AI initiatives, and transformation across practices, departments, and leadership.

Expect varied work, rapid decision-making, and close exposure to firm leadership. The role blends strategy, operations, and AI deployment with heavy interaction across business lines, toward modernizing processes and driving growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in management consulting, strategy, or business operations.
• Ability to structure ambiguous problems and drive recommendations into execution.
• Strong analytical toolkit; comfortable with data and AI tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; brief senior executives effectively.
• Project management discipline with multi-workstream delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA/JD or advanced degree is a plus.
• Experience in legal or professional services is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of the firm’s strategic plan across practices and departments.
• Partner with leaders on growth strategy, market expansion, pricing, talent, and commercial topics.
• Build analyses, materials, and recommendations used by firm leadership to make decisions.
• Translate findings into actionable plans and stay involved through execution.
• Identify high-value AI use cases and help shape buy-vs-build decisions.
• Lead end-to-end redesigns of cross-functional business processes from diagnosis to adoption.
